Ghatam is both vessel and womb—holding, nurturing, and sustaining. It speaks of creation, protection, and the ceaseless cycle of life evolving within silent enclosures.

Ghatam embodies the essence of preservation. Like a mother’s womb cradles life, this vessel safeguards what it holds—whether grain, water, or the pulse of existence itself. It’s a reminder that sustenance is not passive; it is an active, evolving force that shapes the world.
A container does more than hold—it transforms. Ghatam is a meditation on the unseen labor of protection and growth. The Ghatam has always been more than clay and form. Once a guardian of food grains and water, it cradled the essentials of life, unseen yet indispensable.
This artwork reimagines the Ghatam as a space of becoming, of quiet evolution. A reminder that within every vessel—be it clay or flesh—resides the energy of growth, waiting to unfold.
